New house!

Moved out from my room last friday.
This is the condition of my friend's living room now.

The weather was so good nowadays that they have this outside the mall last saturday.

Had a haircut as well.
At first i wanted to go back to the salon that i got my haircut last time but they were fully booked til monday.
The only 1 slot that was available cost £48.
As if i'll pay that. -_-

So we looked around for others but it was either fully booked or near closing hours.
In the end, we went to a £10 salon. HAHA!
At first we were reluctant 'cause of the price but the salon was full with people so we took a try.
Luckily the result was alright. *phew*

Finally cut my fringe after so long.
I told the lady that i wanted a thin/wispy bangs and this was what she cut for me.

It was too thin and weird.
So i got my friend to trim and cut it for me after that.



I look so much younger now!
It feels great to be 18 again!


p/s: i like doing this kinda random post. makes blogging so much easier and picture is a great way to save time on typing and describing which i suck at. :)

The ever-changing weather

Just when i thought it will be abit warmer now. T__T
The roads outside my flat are covered with a thin layer of snow now.

I get to eat bak gua (dried pork) this cny! yayyyy!!
I was just telling my mum how i was craving for it 2 weeks ago and now i have it!!
No no. It wasn't from my mum.
It was actually from a classmate of mine.
Her boyfriend's family sent some for them and she gave me some.



And its from Bee Cheng Hiang!
I never knew they have BCH in China.
Now i can eat bak gua while youtube-ing.

Oh ya, my mum said that she wanna send me some cny cookies after she got back from my grandma's house.
I have a feeling that she'd forgotten about it already so i'll give her a call tomorrow to remind her.
What a fillial daughter. lol!

Its my second CNY here in the UK.
Its pretty much the same as last year.

Like, who the heck attend classes on CNY right?? *sigh*

I had steamboat with Jme last night for our "reunion" dinner.
2 boring people stuck together in Norwich.
That sounded so sad man. :(

Anway, back to happy topic.
Its 10 more mins to my birthday!!

I just got back from dinner with my coursemates where they cooked thai food for me.
I am so full right now that i have difficulty in breathing. =="
But the food was good especially the Tomyam Kung!! *slurrrppp*

I am so glad that i have people to celebrate my birthday with instead of being alone like last year.

White X'mas came early....

I forget to mention that it was snowing last weekend.

Not the light snow like last year but heavy snow.

It was snowing for the whole Saturday!

The next day when i opened my curtains, what greeted me was this.

Everything was covered in snow.

I am so happy!!

I finally get to see how its like to see the snow pilling up.

So i met Jme at the launderette to do our laundry then began our photo session.

It felt like we were at some holiday destination instead of university. :)

Happy Halloween?!

You know how i've been saying that i haven't been to any clubs in Norwich? (yes, seriously)

Well, I finally went clubbing for the first time after being here for 1 YEAR! (SERIOUSLY!)

It was a Halloween party organized by some uea's asian societies.

At first, some of the friends wanna dress-up since its halloween party but in the end, we just dress normally.

Most of the people didn't dressed up anyway.

The party was alright. It was filled with asians as it was organized by asians. lol.

I met a few friends whom i haven't seen in awhile which was kinda nice.

It was my friend's birthday on Wednesday so we had a little get together in our kitchen.

My friends prepared all the food while i, ermmm, helped around.

Nothing much

Due to popular demand (only 2), I'm updating my blog..haha..I was in a lazy mode after my second post. Guess I still enjoy reading blogs rather than blogging. Hmmm.. At first, I'm thinking of writing about my NY's resolutions BUT I decide to just skip that. Why?? Well, I don't think that I can keep it anyway so why write something that will be used against me later on, right?? hehe.. Anyway, had some outings with my classmates last week. It's the first week of the term so basically everyone is still pretty much in a holiday/relax mode. 

My classmate, Anna, invited us to her house for a party. It's more like her housewarming because she moved to a new place. We met up in the city, bought groceries and off to her house which was actually quite far away. It's a really quiet place. There's a road that lead to her house that is so dark that you can only see those around you as dark figures. It's a little scary even though we are walking in a group because you just had the feeling that something might jump out from the dark. And the amazing thing is that she live ALONE!! *Flashback of a scene from home alone* I mean, she is so brave. I would never EVER live alone even if you give me lotsa money. Yeah, am really a scaredy cat. I don't even dare to watch horror movie especially ASIAN's because it will take me a long time to delete the scenes from my brain (My brain is always remembering things that it shouldn't ). Which is why I really admire her courage *salute*

Anyway, back to the party. Her house is actually very nice and cosy.

Everyone started to prepare the food once inside. Since I'm not cooking anything (I'm not the only one k..Just in case you guys think so..haha), I was the assistant to everyone. Ohya, I did cook something. I cooked the rice..haha. I know my buddies must be thinking "It's so Wendy to cook the rice because that's the only thing that she can do well as she can't live without rice".

Well, I think its kinda fun to hangout in a group like that once in a while. It's been so long since I did that. Miss my gang terribly.

The girls (5 of us) met up again the next day to catch a movie. Well, that's the purpose of the day anyway. However the person (me) who kept saying that she wanted to save up, ended up spending more. See..There goes my first resolution.  I manage to buy a cap which is kinda expensive to me. But I bought it anyway as I really miss wearing cap. Somehow I manage to forget my caps when packing then. Aikz.

Planned to watch "Lust, Caution" that day but the cinema that we went is not showing it. Bummer...Thought can watch LeeHom. Haiii. We ended up watching "St Trinian's". Its about a boarding school for 'young ladies' in UK but the students are far from 'young ladies'. They are actually violent and wicked. They then got together to help save the school from being closed down. There are some parts that are pretty funny though and Mischa Barton did an appearance in it too. I was shocked when I saw her. Overall, it was an ok movie for me. Not too bad but not very good either.


Ohya, almost forget to mention that it was my little sis's birthday yesterday. I forget to wish her earlier. Aiks. Will definitely call later. In the meantime, I'll wish her here though she won't be seeing this..haha..
