Can't believe that i didn't know that before hand.
So i can now keep up-to-date with Msia's news. hehe..

Currently listening to Red fm's late night love songs.peace

Everyone's been uploading pictures from our schooling time which i wanted to do so as well.
But i don't have any pictures with me now.
Guess i'll do it when i got back to penang. :)

EXAMS OVER!!!

Get your champagne out 'cause its time to celebrate!!!celebrate

But before i got to this happy stage, i almost die from a heart attack this morning.
I have an exam this morning at 9.15am.
And i almost, ALMOST overslept.
I didn't sleep last night due to *cough*lastminute*cough* revision (something seriously never change).
Then around 7+am, i was really tired so i was lying on my bed.
AND i sort of, ermmm, dozed off.
With no intention to sleep at all, i didn't set the alarm.

So by the time i woke up, it was 9AM ALREADY!!!!!!
15 more minutes to my exam!! :takot:

I jumped out from the bed, wash my face and changed as fast as i can then ran to the exam hall.
Which i can't really run 'cause it was raining. *curse the rain*
I got there just in time for the invigilator to announce the exam rooms. *phew*

Luckily i am staying on-campus.
If i stay off-campus, i can kill myself already.
Another reminder not to do last minute work but then again, this was like the 236584596587times that i repeat the same old routine without learning from it. *sigh*

Anyhoo, hell was over.
My holiday officially starts now!
But i have to pack and move in the next few days.
The problem now is
I don't know where to start!
So many things wei!

:hilo:

Somebody help me please!!

Sunday 17 May 2009

All set for summer!

But i will have to go through the KILLER exams first.
Seriously, who the heck invented exams? :males:

Anyway, i've been on a shopping spree recently, stocking up my summer clothes as a preparation for summer. *excited*
I am hunting for colourful tops nowadays.
I need some colours back in my life!!
There are only 2 colours in my wardrobe now - BLACK & GREY.
And yes, it looks as dull as it sounds.
So its time to welcome some sunshine back into my life~~

Every shops look really nice with colours and flowers now.
I wish i can bring everything back but i have, ermmm, financial shortage, you know.
If i am working here, then its a different story.
But right now, i am earning RM and spending £!
That was a BIG difference.
How i wish i was one of those people who can go into a shop and just buy everything without looking at the price tags.
That MUST be nice. *dreaming*

I've been looking for a nice pair of pattern leggings since its like the in-thing now.
Bought 1 from topshop the other day and decided to play with my wardrobe a little (but i only came up with 1 combination. O_o)
Still fail when it comes to fashion.
Maybe it was because i wasn't brave enough to try different styles OR it could just be my wardrobe limitations.
That must be it! *self-consoling*

Ok, you can't see the colour here because i edited it.
But i can assure you that its a combination of bright colours - red, blue, yellow, etc!
I can't show you the original picture because it wasn't that nice since i took it in my room.
So hence, the colour editing.

Here's a pair of skinny jeans that i bought recently.
Love how skinny it was and how it made my legs look longer.

But the problem now is -

I. GAINED. WEIGHT!
So light-coloured pants made it look even more obvious.

Don't give me the bullshit like "you look the same"/"there was no difference"/"u look better now".
I seriously did gained.
Let me just tell you how much weight i gained.

Brace yourself.

Here goes.........

10KG!!!!!!!

not 1 or 2 or 3 but 10 ok!

I'll take a picture of the weighing machine (with me standing on it, of course. what if i weighed double my weight just like in the movie - SHUTTER? *choichoichoi*. If that really happened, it will be fats that had conquered my body instead of a ghost sitting on my shoulder. wtfwtf) when i move to my friend's place.
Then you will see that i am not lying.

It, seriously, is time to exercise those extra lbs away. *fingers crossed*

p/s: but i've found out that its impossible to lose weight in the UK. Matilah like that. *sigh*

Restaurant city

Current facebook game that i am addicted. *sigh*

All thanks to Miss ANG KAI LI and Miss TAN LI LING for inviting me to play the game.
And now, i will log into this game.
Everyday.
Without.
Fail.

Random pictures of random things..

Received this msg on Sat from my bro.
I don't know why he wanna cc it to us.
Guess he wanna let us know that he loves us too.
Everybody say "Aaawwww~~"

My besties went to leehom's concert and got me this!
Thanks babes!!
At least i got something even though i missed his concert. hehe..

~~

I was staying over at my friend's place for a week because all of her housemates went back to china.
This tv was placed in her room.
So damn nice ok.
Its been so long since i last sat on a bed and watched movie on a big screen!

~~

Got this from my trip to bath.
I didn't went to the real thing 'cause everyone's been telling me that its nothing but a pile of rocks. AND it looks the same from every angle. HAHA..
So i bought this as souvenir and i can bluff people that i went. *proud*

The guy at the cashier when i bought this was really fuuny.
I have a coin purse with AstroBoy on it.
When he saw it, he went "ASTROBOY!" (he wasn't the first who noticed that. i didnt know that there were so many people in uk who knew about the anime. hehe)
Then i met him again at another store (all inside the roman bath but they have a few souvenir shops in it) and when he saw me, he went "its astroboy again!" HAHA
He told me that the stonehenge i bought was the actual size of the real thing. LOL!

~~

Delicious yogurt!
But i only buy it once in a while 'cause its more expensive compared to others.
I can buy 4yogurts from sainsbury or tesco for only 29p or 39p but 4 of muller's yogurt cost £2.

Daily Dressing

I am trying to escape from the fact that I have to submit my half-done assignment tomorrow and sit for my first paper the day after.
Since i can't blog properly, i would just blog about daily dressing which i've been wanting to try for sometimes now.
But as you all know, i am always stranded in this lil' town of mine so there wasn't much to blog about my outfit.
Anyway, lots of people commented on my outfit for my Bath trip so i'll do a daily dressing post now.
Here goes my first attempt.

Blazer - Zara
Dress - Primark
Tights - Primark
Shoes - Zara

Okay, there wasn't a need for this post anyway because it only consists of 2 brands. -_-"
Maybe i'll do more daily dress post IF i am happy with what i wear again.
Alright, gotta get my half-done essay DONE.

Twilight-fied

I've finally finished reading Twilight (shoot! i should be revising for my exams now) and it was GREAT!
The book is so much better than the movie though the movie is good as well.
But the book is BETTER!
Its much more in detail (kononlah, its a book..duhh')
and they have much more body contacts than the movie.
I like how Edward is not afraid to touch Bella and the things described were much more intense.

I have to say though, the movie did help in terms of imagining their faces.
Whenever i read their parts, all their faces will come into my mind. I don't have to make up my own characters as it was already there.
But i guess right now i'll have to wait til im done with my exams to continue with New Moon because i know i won't be able to stop once i've started. -_-

I can now confirm that i like edward cullen and not robert pattinson.
I like the character itself not the actor.
You know how we always watch a movie and like the character hence the actor/actress.
This time, its not happening.
I didn't go "OMG!! its robert pattinson!!" when i see his pictures like how i always did when i saw leehom's.
Instead, i just go "Oohhh..its robert pattinson". -_-
I think i didn't give him enough credit for his acting but then again, it just prove that the character was a success. Right?!
I don't know if its just me or is there someone who felt the same as me??

Speaking of Leehom, if i ever saw him walking down the street, i don't even know if i can contain my excitement.
No, i am 100% sure what my reaction will be.
I'll definitely go "OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!! ITS HIM!! ITS LEEHOM!!!! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!"
But after that, i'll start to doubt my eyes.
Because it is not possible to be able to see him just like that, you know.

Even if i see people starts going up to him to take pictures or whatsoever and confirm that its him in person, i'll just look from afar and admire their courage.
I'll go "Awww. I wish i can be like them" and keep on looking from the side.
And when he was gone, i'll kick myself in the head for not going up.
Then have more people to kick me again for that.
Then i'll prepare a gun for them and ask them to just shoot me. *sigh*

Yes, Me is a COWARD.
Though im usually loud but i am actually a coward that i can't even do simple things like that. *sigh*
Anyway, this is just an 'if only' situation lah.
As if it can really happen in reality.
The probability of me meeting celebrities, any celebrities, must me 0.0000000000000000001 (hey..a girl can dream, right?) so the chances of meeting my favourite ones are even lower.

How did i manage to write from twilight to leehom to me being emo?
Beats me.

Random shits that happened to me in italy~~

Okay, this is not a travelogue.
I don't think i'll be writing travelogue because i, seriously, suck at it.
Still remember my pathetic attempts from last year?
I only wrote 2 entries for my easter trip '08 and didn't even started on my Krakow's one even though i promised. *sigh*
Oh, and also my summer trip. *shifty eyes*
And its already Easter '09 now. *guilty to the max*

Anyway, lets start already.
This will be a very long rambling post with nothing but words.
Oh, and some emoticons. -_-

****

My first stop is at Pisa. So we flew in Pisa, took the bus to the city, searched for our hotel, blablabla...
When we saw the outside of our hotel, we were worried 'cos it doesn't look good.
Like some cheapo hotel (though it really is) but i expect more because ITS A HOTEL.
But as the saying goes 'never judge a book by its cover', the interior of the hotel was much better. Its pretty good actually so we were relieved.
Then the horror came. We wanted to check in and the receptionist checked for our booking and
HE. CANNOT. FIND. OUR. NAMES!:takot:

He checked and checked then i suddenly remember the scene from my summer trip last year.

~~
We booked the hostel at Madrid and when we were there, the lady told us she didn't received our booking. We were like, how can that be?! and showed her the booking confirmation letter and all. Then we found out that it was because the hostelworld's system was down and she didn't received it.
Luckily, they have an empty room that night and let us in as well as for the second night.
Ohh, i forgot to mention that we had a hard time communicating because the lady speaks 0 english and we, 0 spanish! But we finally managed to understand each other after a loooooooongg time with the help of pointing, drawing, whatsoever, and also a guest who helped us to translate. *phew*
~~

Back to the story, i thought the same thing happen again this time. Just when i wanted to blame it on hostelworld, the receptionist found our booking.
The thing now is, instead of booking the 6th, we booked the day after which is 7th.

*thunder + lightning + rain*
:konslet: (This was exactly our expressions)

Just when we were getting frantic over it, the receptionist help us to check if they have any room available for that day. So we were standing there all worried and thinking of plan b/c/d if they were full that day.
I think the lucky god/goddess was with us that day because they managed to make a room for us. It was suppose to be a room for 3 but they put in another bed for us. *phew*
The room was really nice but i don't have a picture to show now.

We started exploring Pisa.
It was a very very small city. Nothing much except for the leaning tower.

The next day, we were off to Florence by train. Florence was so much bigger than Pisa.
And much more tourists as well. Looks like the earthquake didn't affect its tourism after all.
We left to Venice the next day via train.

Okay, here was the start of bad luckS. (note the capital S)

So we reached Venice and the weather was really good.
Sunny and warm.
I was excited to be back again. :)

We looked for our hostel and our jaws dropped when we saw the room. The room SUCKS!
It was the most expensive one out of our trip and it was the worst room. It looks like a store room where you simply chucked in 4 beds. It was also very dark as the light was very dim.
Since we were only staying for a night, i thought, okay, lets just tolerate it.

We went out exploring Venice. I don't know why but i didn't feel that it was as nice as before.
Maybe it was because the place was flooded with tourists.
You have people EVERYWHERE and the waterbus was always full. =="

I like how me and Eve stumbled into random squares with no people where we can fool around.
I like walking on the streets without bumping into people all the time.
Most importantly, i love our room then!

Anyway, this time, i felt the buildings somewhat looks older now.
But i didn't forget to revisit the restaurant! Ae Oche!!
The food were still as good!! lapar
I recommend this restaurant to anyone who will be visiting Venice. :okay:

Got back to the room at night and when Jme's dad wanted to take a shower, we found out that the heater wasn't working. So we have to use another share bathroom which was further away from our room. Dissatisfied with it as we booked our rooms with private bathroom but now we gotta share with others. We talked to the guy about the room rates and wanted him to reduce the rate to shared bathroom one.
But damn, he was damn arrogant. He told us 'ITS NONE OF HIS BUSINESS'
WTF was that?! NONE OF HIS BUSINESS??
He was in charged of the place. How can it be not his business??
He said he already asked someone to fix the heater but it can't be fixed so he already did what he can. Its not his business anymore. If he did nothing, then he will refund our money but he did, so he will not do anything.
And he was looking at his computer screen the whole time he was talking to us. How rude was that?!
Damn, this hostel seriously SUCKED!!

Since we can't do anything and we dare not argue any further because we're at a foreign place, we have to endure it. So the next morning, we have to catch the 5+am's coach to the airport because our flight is at 8am.
Got to the airport before 7am, checked in then wait for boarding.
Everything was going well or so we thought.

Around 7.30am, the screen in front of our gate suddenly showed "CANCELLED".
An announcement then followed.
OUR. FLIGHT. GOT. CANCELLED. :galit:

So everyone rushed to the counter where they refund our money and asked for alternative to Rome. All the flights were full and the only one that was available will be the next evening!! Which is impossible for us to get that because Jme's parents must fly back to Msia from Rome the next day. So they told us that the best way is to get there by train.

We rushed to the train station and tried to get a ticket. The ticket lady told us that the seats were full and the only ones left are standing tickets. So we paid 60+EURO PER PAX and stood all the way to Rome! Its a 4+hours of journey!! Throughout the journey, we have to sit on the floor and all. It felt like we were illegal immigrants when in actual fact, we paid so much for it! :sobrakana:

But luckily, everything went well once we reached Rome.

Venice definitely didn't give me a good memory this time around. *sigh*

Anyway, im lazy to continue but basically, that was what happened to us throughout the trip.
